In your memory is a pre-made structure to mount, available at the funeral to show the deceased’s belongings and to reunite the family and friends. It is modulable depending on the type and quantity of exposed objects.
The idea ignited in my mind when I noticed that following the funeral, families often share the memories they have about the deceased. Some objects, clothing, photos, and letters they have in common with the deceased become suddenly more charged emotionally than prior to the demise.
Memories are acts of creation.
When remembering things, we rebuild them and make them endure in the memory.
